Birthday: KCSDA Celebrate GM, Testifies Execution of Over 170 Projects Under Gov. Ododo

The Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, (KCSDA), said it has completed over 170 projects in communities across the three Senatorial districts of the state within a period of four months with the sum of N2.6 billion naira.

The General Manager of the Agency, Chief Dauda Momoh, who stated this in his office while speaking with journalists as part of activities to mark his birthday, said this level of achievements wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo through prompt release of funds and other logistic support.

He noted that the agency was able to surmount all the challenges, which he said includes difficult terrains among others in ensuring the completion of these projects which he said would positively impact the lives of the people of the Communities.

Speaking also the Operation Manager, Engr. Bayode Oladipo noted that the height recorded by the agency wouldn’t have been possible without the visionary leadership of the GM, Chief Dauda Momoh.

He called on the staff of the organization to continue to give the leadership the necessary support in order to be able to deliver on their set goals.

In a felicitation message on behalf of the Staff of the agency, Pastor Sam Okpanachi, Project Officer (Social Safeguards), noted that the exemplary leadership and unwavering dedication of the GM have been pivotal in steering the agency towards achieving its mission of fostering sustainable development across Kogi State.

Speaking further, he said “Chief Dauda, your visionary approach and commitment to community empowerment have not only inspired us but have also significantly impacted the lives of many within our communities.

“Under your guidance, we have witnessed remarkable progress in enhancing infrastructure, improving access to education and healthcare, and access to potable water.”

Responding to journalists, GM said the agency prioritises sensitization of the communities to maintenance culture, especially through the Community Driven Development approach. Adding that there about 10 years projects which are properly managed and still functional.

The staff unanimously, in merriment, sang birthday songs, with wishes and prayers for the celebrant.
