Kogi Council Polls: Mopamuro APC Campaign Council Seeks Traditional Council Blessing

As the Kogi State Local Government Election fast approaches, the All Progressive Congress (APC) Campaign Council of Mopamuro (Destiny/Joy 2024), led by its Chairman, Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo has sought the blessings of the Traditional Council led by the Elulu of Mopa and Chairman Mopamuro Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun.

Recall that Hon. Ademola Bello (Destiny) and Hon. Joy Dalumo emerged as the Chairmanship Candidate and running mate of the APC, respectively.

The Chairman of the Destiny/Joy 2024 Campaign Council and leader Mopamuro APC, Hon. Fanwo, during his opening speech and introduction of the candidates, said they have not come to campaign but appreciate their support for the government and the APC.

He also said he is proud of the APC Government of the past Alhaji Yahaya Bello administration and incumbent Governor Usman Ododo as they love, respect, and honour the traditional council, especially in Mopamuro and it evident.

He said there is barely any community in Mopamuro that doesn’t have a graded Chief and/or King.

He congratulated Mopamuro for having the College of the Education (Technical) in Mopa now. He added that the administration of Governor Usman Ododo will soon execute its plan to build modern facilities for the higher institution, and the government is currently reconstructing roads in Mopamuro.

He assured that the APC government will remodell schools and healthcare facilities in a few months in Mopamuro.

He also congratulated Hon. Ademola Bello, assuring the entire Traditional Council that the Destiny/Joy ticket will not disappoint them.

Congratulating Oba Muyiwa Ibeun once again, Hon. Fanwo said he has brought good tidings for Mopamuro, apart from his personal efforts influencing projects and development.

Oba Ibeun, during his speech, said Royal Fathers are not politicians, but he believes the APC has done well and that Hon. Fanwo didn’t mention all the projects of the government in Mopamuro. He also appreciates Hon. Olawunmi Jacob, that he is making a lot of effort that will show forth very soon.

The Alamuro of Amuro, HRM, Oba Alfred Modupe Aiyedogbon in his remark, congratulate the APC, ask them to fulfil their promise and not forget the Traditional Council when they man the executive leadership of the Local Government.

The Adetula of Ilai, His Royal Highness, Oba Ibilaiye Abayomi Samuel said he usually doesn’t believe the regular “Tested and Trusted” being said by politicians, but he actually trusts Hon. Ademola Bello, and he his sure that he will perform.

Hon. Ademola appreciates the entire Traditional Council and Mopamuro people, assuring them that he will not disappoint them.

All the traditional council Chiefs and Kings gathered round Chairmanship and councillorship candidates and prayed for them.
