Kogi Council Polls: Usman Ogbo Joins Party Stalwarts, Flags off Ankpa Council Campaign

… Commissions Motorized Borehole for Makurdi Street

A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress, (APC) and Chairman of the 21–member standing committee for the flag off of the Local Council Elections, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman has joined party stalwarts drawn from the 13 wards of Ankpa LGA to officially flag–off the Council Campaigns for the October 19th Council polls.

The Flag off ceremony which was held at Ankpa on Saturday, was attended by critical stakeholders of the party, party faithfuls and embraced new ‘entrants’ to the All Progressives Congress, (APC).

In his address, Professor Usman appreciated the commitments and loyalty of the party faithfuls and encouraged both the party leaders and members not to relent in their services and stressed the importance of collective effort in achieving the party’s goals.

He further affirmed that the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) is dedicated to delivering good governance and prioritizing the welfare of the people as demonstrated by the chief servant of Kogi state His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo the Executive Governor of Kogi State.

Prof. Usman commended All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders and members for their support, urging them to mobilize and turn out en masse on October 19th, 2024, to elect APC candidates across the 13 wards of Ankpa Local Government Area.

Earlier, Prof. Usman commissioned a motorized borehole donated to Makurdi Street by Honorable Lawal Akus, Member Representing Ankpa I State Constituency.

He commended Hon. Akus for his selfless contribution, stating that it will be remembered historically and urged residents to utilize the facility responsibly, ensuring its longevity and benefiting from the clean water supply.
