As part of efforts at contributing his quota towards ensuring food security in Kogi State and Nigeria in general, the House of Representatives Member Representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem (SEA), has cleared vast land for the empowerment of Farmers at Adu Farm Center in the Area.
Hon. SEA who conducted an on-the-spot Assessment of the farmland he cleared to empower farmers ahead of the Official Flag-off, expressed satisfaction with the level of works done so far.
The Reps Member said the initiative will go a long way at helping the benefiting farmers boost their farming activities and as well, improve their social-economic lives.
He pointed out that the youth, who are also benefiting huge from the initiative, have shown commitment and readiness to take responsibility of their various portions at the official Flag-off, stressing that more will be done in the days ahead.
Hon. Abdulraheem praised his team Members for their efforts so far, urging them to keep up the good works as more People centred initiatives will be rolled out to impact the lives of the people positively.
Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem also paid homage to Adu Community Leaders who also pledged their commitment to the initiative as they heep praises on the House of Reps Members for improving the socioeconomic lives of the people since his assumption of Office.
The House of Reps Member was accompanied by the Facilitator of the initiative,Latifah Aspitah Isah, Hon. Abanika Taye: Kogi State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Raji Egidi Siyaka – Former Secretary to Ajaokuta LGA, Hon. Sandra Mimi Musa: SA to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on SEMA, Hon. Muhammed Haruna Ganaja – SA to the Governor on Inter-tribal relations, Hon. Jamiu Muhammed – APC Ward Chairman, Mallam Oricha – ward Head, Muhammed Jamiu Nasiru – Youth Leader, among others.
