The Standup for Women Society (SWS) has announced that her conference will be held at Rockview Hotel in Owerri. The conference, which is themed: ‘Women and Insecurity’, is scheduled to be held from 11th to 14th of September, 2024.
According to the press release signed by the international president, Barr. Deborah Ijadele-Adetona and sent to journalists, the conference will bring women together from diverse backgrounds and promises to address pressing insecurity issues and its far-reaching effect on the lives of women.
The conference also aims to create a safe space for women to share their experiences, challenges, and triumphs in the face of insecurity through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops, in addition to the statement, attendees will gain valuable insights, practical tools and supportive community to help them navigate and overcome insecurity.
“We strive to create a world where women can thrive without fear of insecurity,” the statement concluded.
