National Youth Day: NYCN to Honour Oba Ibeun, Ogbo, Braimoh, Others

National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter is set to Celebrate it’s 60th Anniversary and National Youth Day, Honoring Distinguished Sons and Daughters

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kogi State Chapter, is set to mark a dual celebration on November 1st, commemorating its 60th anniversary alongside National Youth Day. This momentous event will honor industrious individuals from Kogi State who have made significant contributions across public and private sectors. Held in Lokoja, the celebration aims to recognize these exemplary figures for their unwavering dedication to progress, development, and excellence in their respective fields.

Among the honorees are the Elulu of Mopa, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Oba (Dr.) Muyiwa Ibeun, Hon. Adams
Adabenege, a Kogi born politician, Olayinka Braimoh a renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist; Professor Usman Ogbo, a respected academic and community leader; Mr. Robert Aluh, Peter Onujeme a respected and astute entrepreneur, along with other eminent personalities who have contributed greatly to the advancement and reputation of Kogi State both locally and internationally.

Comrade Usman Samuel Ogohi, the Kogi State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, emphasized the significance of celebrating the Council’s anniversary on National Youth Day. “This milestone provides us with an opportunity not only to celebrate our journey as an organization but also to acknowledge those whose contributions continue to shape our state’s future.
