Comr. SAS expressed his appreciation during a press briefing in Lokoja on Thursday, noting that the initiative has garnered significant interest among students. However, he encouraged indigenous student leaders to further disseminate information about the program to their local platforms to reach more students, particularly natives and residents.
The initiative aims to empower Kogi students globally, with a focus on those within the state who require support. According to Comr. SAS, the program aligns with Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo’s administration efforts to empower Kogi youth and students, keeping them engaged and productive while promoting the state’s presence in the tech industry.
Comr. SAS urged registered students to encourage their peers to participate and assured them that training and empowerment sessions would commence soon. He also thanked OPUS MULTIDYNAMIC CONCEPT NIG LTD for their support in promoting tech skills among Kogi State students, enhancing their economic prospects.
The NAKOSS TechSkills initiative is expected to contribute significantly to the state’s economic development and youth empowerment efforts.
