Kogi Poly Students Pass Vote Of Confidence On Rector Over Outstanding Support, Care, Dedication To Student’s Welfare.

Students of Kogi State Polytechnic have passed a vote of confidence on the school’s management particularly the Rector, Salisu Ogbo Usman over what they described as outstanding support, care, and dedication to the welfare of the students.

In a press release signed on Friday by the Student Union President, Comrade Christian Onuh, he attested that the Rector has set a good example in curbing social vices and providing essential amenities for the benefit of the students adding that the Rector’s commitment in creating a conducive learning environment and helping students is truly commendable.

He said “I want to express my gratitude to the Rector *Dr salisu Ogbo usman* for his efforts to uphold the values of our institution and his unwavering support for the student community. His dedication has not gone unnoticed, and his initiatives have greatly enhanced our academic and personal development”.

Comrade Onuh recognized the Rector for his role as an amazing father figure to the students noting that his accessibility, care, and support have made a significant difference in student’s lives and his leadership has been instrumental in making the institution greater.

He thanked the kogi state government under the leadership of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the immense contribution to the development of kogi state polytechnic and the state at large. We Thank you for your dedication and care towards the students. Your efforts are greatly appreciated, and we look forward to working hand in hand with you to advance the institution, he said.

He added that the institution under the Rectorship of Dr. Ogbo was student union friendly and such disposition has propelled certain achievements under him as the SUG president including Provision of furniture for the SUG secretariate, Complete Repair of the SUG Presidential vehicle, Rehabilitation of the secatariat toilets, Setting up a mini-Common room  at the SUG chamber and Purchase of a new photocopy/printing machine at the SUG secretariate for a low cost of photocopy and printing to help the student body at large.

The SUG president however encouraged the Rector to continue his invaluable support and initiatives for the benefit of the students and the entire institution asking that they worked together to address any challenges and strive for the continual improvement of the school.

He said “I assure the Rector of the students’ full cooperation and active participation in contributing to the growth and progress of the institution. Together, we can uphold the standards and values of Kogi State Polytechnic and strive for academic excellence and overall development”.

“I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the Alumni association of Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja chapter for their unwavering support and commitment to our institution. Your dedication and generosity have played a significant role in the growth and development of the polytechnic, and we are truly thankful for everything you have done”. he mentioned.
