Eid-Al-Adha: Rep. Abejide Felicitates with Muslim Ummah, Calls for Reflection and Commitment to Development

Hon. Leke Abejide, the member representing Yagba East, Yagba West, and Mopamuro Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Customs & Excise, has extended warm felicitations to Nigerians, particularly the Muslim Ummah, on the occasion of Eid-Al-Adha 2025.

In a heartfelt message, Hon. Abejide urged Muslims to continue praying for peace, unity, and progress in Nigeria, especially in Yagba, as the region navigates security challenges. He emphasized the importance of embracing the spirit of sacrifice and commitment to development, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith.

“Let us dedicate and commit ourselves to support our leaders in building a strong and united country,” Hon. Abejide said. “We must emulate the values of selflessness, generosity, and service to humanity, which are essential for our collective progress.

“The lawmaker also appealed to the people of Yagba Federal Constituency to remain calm, as efforts are being made to address the issue of insecurity. He stressed the need for continued collaboration between the government, leaders, and security agencies in combating insecurity.

“Your cooperation in the fight against insecurity and threats remains vital in ensuring peace and stability in Yagba,” Hon. Abejide said. “I appeal to all the people of Yagba to remain vigilant against any force that threatens our peace, and together, we will bring peace to our land and live together in harmony.

“Reiterating his commitment to his constituents, Hon. Abejide assured that he will continue to formulate legislation that supports their interests and delivers good representation.

As the Muslim Ummah celebrates Eid-Al-Adha, Hon. Abejide wishes them a blissful celebration, praying that their homes be filled with blessings. “May your homes be filled with blessings, Eid-Al-Kabir,” he said.
