As Nigeria, the giant of Africa marks her 25th Democracy Day, Nigerians have been advised to be good ambassadors of the Country wherever they found themselves.
The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria-China Multipurpose Investment International Limited (NCMIIL), Prince Ishola Olatunbosun, made the call in his 2024 Democracy Day Message to celebrate the auspicious occasion now marked on 12th June; every year.
Prince Olatunbosun, who once contested for the National Youth Leadership Position of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said it was important to appreciate Nigerians for their resilience and commitment to seeing to the development of the Country, noting that such will serve as a catalyst to a more developed Nation.
The CEO of Dallas Halimto Oil Limited pointed out that Nigeria is a blessed Nation, calling on the citizens to represent the Country well in their various endeavours.
“I congratulate all Nigerians on the celebration of the 25th Democracy Day that we are marking today, 12th June 2024
“The journey to where are presently have been two-sided. Sometimes rough, sometimes smooth but we thank God that we are where we are today
“I must commend all Nigerians within and outside the Country for continually flying our flags high and for your commitment to ensuring that we remain as one
“Head or tail, we have no other Country we can call a home aside Nigeria. This is why we all need to come together to contribute our quota towards rebuilding this Nation
“We all have a part to play in sustaining this Country. I use this opportunity to charge all the citizens of our dear Nation to renew our commitment towards contributing to the progress of Nigeria
“Foreigners will not develop it for us, we all need to come together as a people, bunded in the love, to ensure the dreams of our heroes past become a reality
“We all need each other in this journey. We need to support the government of the day, we need to be law abiding, we need to be more sincere and we need to be more intentional in our actions and reactions
“We need to seek the good others and we need to contribute our quota to the security of Nigeria by availing Security operatives, necessary information that will be of help
“Nigeria is a blessed Nation, a Nation blessed with abundant Mineral resources, human resources, a Country with various potentials and talents
“We are called GIANT OF AFRICA for a reason and will in no distant time, live up to expectations. God Bless Nigeria and God Bless Nigerians”, he added.
