The Chairman, Esan North East Local Government Area of Edo State, Dr. Kelly Inedegbor, has released the sum of Five Million Naira (N5,000,000) as First Tranche of the about Eight Million Naira donated by Uromi sons and daughters for the repairs of Vigilante Vehicles in the Area.
A Statement by Okonofua Harry Osemobor, Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, explained that the 5M Naira was handed over to the Chairman, Project Monitoring Committee, Esan North East LGA, Engr. Kelvin Okpebholo, to begin work on refurbishing the Area’s Security Vehicles.
The Chairman tasked Engr. Okpebholo to be transparent in handling the funds and ensure it is used for the purpose it was generated as the good people of Uromi/Uzea expects a judicious use of the money.
The Chairman also appreciated those that contributed towards the realisation of the Project, promising that he will continue to live up to expectations in the discharge of his duties.
