National Association of Olamaboro Students Held Convention, Elect Pioneer Executives

The student body National Association of Olamaboro Students (NAOS) has on Saturday held their 2022 National Convention and electing Pioneer Executive in Okpo, the Local Govt Headquarter.

The body which has been in existence for long but under the leadership of a Caretaker Committee headed by Chairman, Secretary, PRO and other positions came to limelight after holding their convention thereby electing viable students across Schools in Nigeria to pilot the affairs of the Association.

The students body comprises of Chapters across Schools in Nigeria.

The body is a non political group aimed at unifying olamaboro students nationwide and advocating for their interest.

The Pioneer Executives are;

1- President: HRH. Comr. Haruna Adams
2- Vice president: Comr.Edoka Victoria Ojonugwa
3- Senate president: Rotr. Adams O Abdulrazaq
4- Deputy senate president: Comr. David O Stephen
5- Secretary General: Comr. Ademu Jeremiah
6 Assistant secretary General: Comr. Theophilus K Ameh
7- Treasurer: Comr. Shaibu Sunday Enyo
8- Director of social:Comr. Mathew Peter
9- Director of welfare: Comr. Ojonago Joshua, Zakari
10- Senate clerk: Comr. Ekele Emmanuel
11- Director of information/ Provost: Comr. Aliyu Adams Seun
13- Director of Transport: Comr. Enenche Adama Abdullahi
14- Director of program and project: Comr. Okpanachi Yusuf
15- Financial secretary: Comr. Abubakar O Kamaldeen

The election which was headed by the El-Com Chairman, Rotr. Comr. Okeme Dominic commence at about 11:00AM at Government Secondary School Okpo, the event venue with students casting their votes lasted for about four hours.

The collation was done by the El-Com accurately devoid of conspiracy or malpractice in order to avoid chaos and bring in the choice of the students.

This was made possible due to the untamed effort of the Caretaker Committee via the EL-COM headed by Comr. Dominic Okeme, Comr. Suleiman Adams as Secretary General and Comr. Obida Emmanuel Perfect as the Public Relations Officer.

Comr. Suleiman Adams, the EL-COM Secretary described NAOS as a body that was established in the early 2000 to bring unity and enhance academic competence among Students in the local government. Another core objective of the body is to serve as mouth piece of the students of the local government in their various institution both tertiary and secondary. ‘He said’

He further urged the Pioneer Executives to put up strong United excos and serve as a unifying and rallying points for all olamaboro Students. They should also be able to design a framework and mortalities like a yearly activities of the NAOS that will enhance the educational upliftment of the local education sector.

The pioneer President, Comr. Haruna Adams during his speech has called on Olamaboro Students nationwide to corporate with the pioneer Executives, promising a transparent and purposeful leadership.

He also call on Olamaboro Students to promote unionism, peace, love and understanding among one another urging them to be a good ambassador to the Local Government and the student body at large.
