Reps Leke Abejide of Yagba Federal Constituency has laid foundation of a 300 Capacity Computer Based Centre in Isanlu on Saturday.
Recall that he promised to build a 300 capacity standard based JAMB centre with all needed facilities.
Since the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) started the Computer Based Test (CBT) for the Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), Yagba Federal Constituency has had none for registration and examination. Students travel as far as Kabba and Ilorin to register and write the examination.
Hon. Leke Abejide saw through the stress and agony of the students and their parents before enrolling for the exams.
“Our students will not have to travel far to other states and local governments before writing their examination. It is therefore essential that we have a CBT Centre in Yagba with all the needed facilities to make it effective. It is a facility that when completed, will be at the disposal of all the students who want to write any form of Computer Based Test without stress”.
The foundation laying was performed by Hon. Leke Abejide with other dignitaries. He that asked the work should commence immediately for the benefit of all and Examination purposes.
